My teacher said that we should be vegetarians. Was Jesus a vegetarian?
I am asked about this subject often. Was Jesus a vegetarian? No, He was not. He ate meat (Luke 24:42-43) including lamb (Luke 22:8-15).
Concerning the eating of meat in general, God has given humanity liberty to eat or not eat meat. The choice is yours. It is NOT a sin to eat meat! Whatever a person decides to eat is acceptable to God as long as we thank Him for providing it (1st Thessalonians 5:18). Paul adds, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God (1st Corinthians 10:31).
