Did Jesus have brothers and sisters?

I have no problem saying emphatically YES! Jesus had brothers and sisters. The Bible even names some of them, “…is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas [quite possibly the author of the book of Jude]? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” (Matthew’s Gospel 13:55-56)

Some people think these names refer to children born to Joseph before his marriage to Mary. Others translate the Greek adelphoi and adelphai as cousins rather than their primary meaning of brothers and sisters. I do not have the slightest hesitance rendering this passage to mean, literally, brothers and sisters.
