Do you believe in Bible codes?

Some people think there are hidden messages in God’s Word for a variety of reasons, including the following passages:

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes (Matthew 11:25).

But they did not understand this saying, and it was hidden from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying (Luke 9:45).

Personally, I have no confidence in Bible codes. In my thinking, they are counterintuitive. Paul writes in 2nd Timothy 3:16-17, All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (NKJV).
